07/28 Rolling Maintenance Notice
Greetings, Mercs!
Thank you all for your participation and support for ZOZ: Final Hour! We have received tons of valuable feedback and are all-hands-on-deck to improve your game experience. We will be undergoing maintenance soon. Please check the details below.⬇️
⏰[Update Time and Method]
July 28, 10:00 - 12:00 (UTC +8). Maintenance won't cause server interruptions. However, players will need to restart the game. Some features may be restricted during the maintenance period, so please keep an eye on in-game messages.
🛠️[Features & Fixes]
1. We noticed some players struggling to efficiently collect Blood Crystals on the map and that many wished to focus on growth. With this in mind, we have adjusted the map's resource distribution to help with Blood Crystal collection and growth. Changes include the following:
(1) Increased Blood Crystals from 2 to 4 in the Mall, Church, and Art Square.
(2) Decreased Blood Crystals from 2 to 0 in the School, Hospital, Pedestrian Street, Park, and Apartment.
(3) Eliminated 4 maps and designed 3 new maps with more varied resource distribution.
(4) Added 7 areas in the new maps, including: 3 areas with 4 Blood Crystals each, 3 areas without any Blood Crystals, and 1 area with an AK-74m Weapon Crate.
2. We will launch the new Season 2 "Global Coalition" on July 28th. Before the season begins, here are some reminders:
(1) Tiers will be reset in Season 2.
(2) There will be all-new exclusive tier rewards including avatars, frames, and clothing.
(3) The all-new Pass 3 "Locked and Loaded" will be waiting with amazing clothing and weapon skins!

3. We have fixed some terrain issues, deleting School and Amusement Park terrain that prevented Zombies from entering the Safehouse and rendered the humans invincible.
4. We have fixed the pop-up sequence issue for the Season UI and Activity Crate UI.
5. We have adjusted the recommended graphic quality for some devices, allowing players to enjoy a smoother game experience.
6. We have optimized some sound broadcast effects, stabilizing their performance.
7. We have addressed the Zombie skill – BC Shield issue of displaying bugs after interruption.
8. We have fixed the abnormal floating issue with the Sniper Rifle scope when aiming.
🗒️[Dev Notes]
1. We noticed issues with bland Signal Emitter placement experiences early on, and have some initial solutions at the moment. We are hard at work making tweaks and will provide players with updates as soon as possible.
2. Based on player feedback and our observations, we have noticed that some weapons are too powerful and take away from the experience. We are currently working on weapon balance to try and design a fresh experience for each weapon.
